Excellent food and service! The pork chop was the best dish at our table, but all of them were winners. Always opt for the stone ground grits as your starch, great texture and flavor every time

Eggleston the town seems to be a nice, quiet town. On the outside, the Palisades looks like a small, homey restaurant that seats maybe 15. On the inside, however, there's a ton going on. The parking situation is interesting - it's next to the restaurant but very sloped and not the easiest to manage. However, when I arrived and entered the restaurant, the energy was the opposite of the town of Eggleston itself. There were tons of people and it seemed to be very fast-paced. The food itself was good. I ordered the supreme pizza, which surprisingly had an option for vegan cheese. I asked what kind of vegan cheese it was, and turns out they don't use a cheap brand like Daiya or Follow Your Heart. The pizza was wonderful - seasoned well and the cheese was not differentiable from dairy cheese. On the other hand, the seafood melt was just average. It tasted good, but the sauce was too runny and cost a lot. Overall, I had a good experience here. The only reason I'm not handing the five out is because of the seafood pasta, which I expected to be better, especially given the price point.

This was the definition of a Diamond in the Rough. From the outside, an old furniture store. From the inside, a rustic, but very nice restaurant. Definitely more upscale than I was expecting. Parking situation was a little iffy. The side parking lot is somewhat narrow and sloped. The inside was very nice. Everything was clean and had an element of rustic but elegant feel.. Our server was very polite and friendly, giving us some great recommendations. We tried the Pork Belly appetizer, which was to die for. We came close to ordering more to take home. For entrees, I got the Chef's Whim and my wife got the steak. Portions were generous, and absolutely delicious. The special was wild boar with bourbon grits and a chili honey acorn squash. That had to be one of the best dishes I have had in a very long time. Dessert was a strawberry cheesecake, which was also top notch. Awesome experience, highly recommend, will go back if in the area 100%.

Went here for Valentines Day Dinner and it was one of the best meals I've had in my life! Our server, Evan was extremely kind and attentive and explained all of the menu items so well we didn't even have a chance to ask any questions! We were led upstairs where there were couple tables covered in red table cloths and rose petals for Valentine's Day which was very cute and made the large room feel more private. To drink we got an espresso martini, which was delicious and not bitter at all, and an old fashioned. Our appetizers started off great! We got the pork belly burnt ends and the homemade focaccia. I love to bake focaccia so whenever a restaurant offers it we like to test it against homemade. While this one was a bit denser than how I make it, it seems like we were given almost half a loaf and the accompanying spreads were amazing! The pork belly burnt ends were perfectly cooked and the cherry balsamic reduction with the fried goat cheese was gobbled up For our main entrees we got the marry me chicken and swordfish steak, both of which were incredible and perfectly cooked. I had always seen marry me chicken recipes online but I had never made it and I'm glad I waited because I don't think my cooking would've have done justice as much as Palisades did. The swordfish literally melted in your mouth and paired really nicely with the mashed sweet potatoes. For dessert we had some hard choices to make but upon the suggestion of our waiter went with the chocolate cake. It was flourless and hot and the middle was gooey. Even though we were both stuffed we had no choice but to devour it. With the cold red velvet ice cream on the side we couldn't have asked for a better end to a perfect meal. Thank you to Palisades for such a special occasion, and the cherry on top was the beautiful flower given at the end of dinner! Highly recommend

Great food and atmosphere. Broccolini was cooked just right and the Lamb was also delicious. I prefer grilled over pan fried though. Hostess was very knowledgeable about the dishes and specials for the day. Waitress also checked on us a few times before the main course came out.

It was on a rainy day at night around 7:30 PM, on the way to the restaurant it was SO DARK and so scary we thought we were heading to the wrong place at first. When we finally got there there was a small wait even though we made a reservation ahead. There were plenty of various choices on the menu to pick from which I was grateful for. My partner knew what he wanted to get which was the pork chop but I wasn't sure what I wanted to get. So I asked my server what the TV dinner is like because the menu only mentioned shrimp, I asked her if it was big shrimp pieces (showing her a sauteed shrimp picture on google) and I don't think she even knew what the TV Dinner was. Why? because when the TV Dinner came out, it was a PASTA with small shrimp pieces which was NEVER mentioned by my server. I would've gotten something else if I knew beforehand. The presentation of the TV Dinner was cute and all but the food was NOT something I expected. However, the pork chop was very flavorful and delicious. I give 10/10 on Porkchop and 4/10 on the TV Dinner (as of the Fall 2022 menu). We did go at the closing time of the restaurant so I felt bad, however, the other server who seemed like an owner was super nice and didn't rush us at all. I give 4 stars because of her and the pork chop, otherwise, I would've given 3 stars.
